| DevínSettlement and monumental ruins of the castle above the confluence of the rivers Danube and Morava. The settlement of the castle hill dates back to 5 thousand years BC, in the course of the centuries Celts, Romans settled there and during the Greatmoravian Empire it became an important frontier castle. Self-existent parish developed from extramural settlement, since the 15th century it was the yeomen town, today it is the municipial part of Bratislava.
